Export management multinationals
How to manage ditributor needs on one side and Supply Chain needs on the other within a large multinational company?
The client: This publicly traded international player supplies to large, mostly existing customers.
The question: In such a large organization, how can you match the often complex questions of distributors to the existing process of the Supply Chain?
The TEN solution: Within a multinational, specific export needs often differ from existing processes/workflows and are therefore complex and difficult to achieve. Examples of this would be the divergent legal requirements of a local customs agency dictating that the expiration date be placed differently on the packaging; specific local dietary patterns requiring larger packaging; other types of pallets, demanding new pallet-stacking schemes, etc. The optimal alignment of mutual expectations and (im)possibilities is the foundation maximizing economies of scale and market potential.
The result: Clear communication is the key to achieving the best possible outcome: to meet customer needs within the capabilities of the Supply Chain.
